Austin Youth Basketball Trainers Chris Corbett, Chris Price and Bernell Murray use the 94Fifty Basketball to help ambitious basketball players get very objective feedback on several areas of their game including shooting and dribbling metrics. The 94Fifty Basketball uses a computer chip sensor in the basketball that interacts with the basketball trainer’s smartphone app. The app is free, the ball is approximately $250 and can help provide feedback on:
- Shot Arc (in degrees)
- Shot release speed
- Shot Rotation
- Dribbling speed
- Dribbling power
Our use indicated the kids found it engaging, beyond interpretation or argument, and helpful for them to focus on process over performance. Click on the basketball to read more reviews and to purchase your 94Fifty basketball. The ball is being used by many college and pro programs and the gang at Austin Youth Basketball recommend this product.
